Good evening fellas, back again and I’ll share my activity for this week. Okay, so for this week we learned about tartlet. Yup, I think this isn’t a rare cake to find, we can find it in almost every cake shop. It’s usually in a small size but there’s also in a big size garnished beautifully. But before that I’ll tell what I did. I arrived ay 07.20, as I arrived I kept my bag in locker room. 08.00 we went to pastry, oneline and we were ordered to make tartlet.
For today, I’m still in the same group with fauzia. We made tartlet in a big size, well not that big, let’s say medium size. We used the recipe from fauzia, since she has learned about this back in her intern. So, fauzia prepared and I mixed it. After the ingredients were mixed, we kept it in chiller first.
After a few mins, I shaped it into mould, and stabbed it with fork. After that, kept it back in chiller for 1 hour. Baked for 30 mins and checked it on the first 15 mins. Always checked it to make sure it cooked perfectly. For the colour it’s not too brown, it’s more like golden brown. After finished baking, we cooled it down. After that, we showed it to lecture. Well, the lecture said the shape wasn’t that good but for the colour itself it was good.
