Good Evening
Back again with yandy, after almost 1 month I didn’t write my blog. And this time back again writing my activity in kitchen, but wait, this time I’m not in campus kitchen but I’m industry or you can say the hotel’s kitchen. This is the new system in campus, considering that we’ll start our internship next semester, so this is as our preparation for internship. We’re in gammara hotel. It is one of the new hotel in Makassar city. Why gammara hotel? Because the executive chef in gammara hotel is our lecture.
Today is the second day I’m in gammara hotel. Today’s blog I’ll combine from the first day to today because the spreadsheet just released. Yesterday my friend and I arrived at 07.00, we absent and went to kitchen, we were separated into few groups, each groups are contain of 10 people and I was in the first group and we were separated into few shifts, 6 of us are in the morning and the other 3 are on the afternoon. One of my friend didn’t come for these past 2 days. I don’t know why. I was in banquet kitchen for today. Banquet kitchen handled the big portion of food for wedding, or other event.
On the first day I helped in cold kitchen, because in banquet there were no one helped so I helped them to cut the fruits for es campur. After that yusril and I were called to helped in banquet. In banquet kitchen, it’s so loud and hot. Yusril was ordered to cook the rice and I helped to prepare the ingredients for lunch. The second day my friends and I arrived at 7.00 and I went to cold kitchen right away just like yesterday. After that, yusril and I went to banquet kitchen again and we were ordered to cook the rice for fried rice and white rice. After that, prepare again for tomorrow.
