Back again with yandy, as usual i’ll tell u about my story in kitchen, this week is the last week we’re in kitchen cause it’s almost final test and almost time for us to go internship. i arrived in campus at 07.12 and as usual every morning i opened the kitchen’s door and windows while waiting for my friends to come, i read about the menu we’re going to do today, for today we’ll make ala carte 2.
We oneline in main kitchen to divided the section, actually this time my team should be in butcher. but there were only 3 people who came, so the others were separated, sally and i were in pastry and we handled red velvet roll. after all clear with their section we immediately prepared the ingredients, my section i made sponge for red velvet and it should be done by today.
We started to scaling the ingredients and mixing it right away, for this time i did it with maya while sally made the garnish, after all mixed we baked it right away. while waiting, i cleaned the area and the utensils that i used. after all cleaned i went to checked on my red velvet sponge but turned out the dough color was orange not red so i have to make the new one. second try turned out good. after all finished, we immediately cleaned pastry and bakery area.
